Bach Concerto in C Minor for Oboe and Violin
Trinity Lutheran Church, 135 NE Randolph
Peoria, IL

This Double Concerto is a real favorite for me - I love the energy and joy of the outer movements and swoon for the gorgeous middle one.  There's something about the way the endlessly, breathlessly long lines intertwine between the oboe and violin that is so intimate, so deeply loving that I come away from it a little changed every time.  I can't wait to work with the marvelous EmmaLee Holmes-Hicks on violin.
