Mexican cane is straight and smooth, and cut in fairly short tubes so you waste very little! I’ve been using it for years. It’s my default on all pregouged and processed cane orders and reeds. (Note: tube cane is indefinitely out of stock)
French Marion cane is straight, smooth, and consistent. I would characterize it as medium – a little harder than my current Mexican cane, softer than Rigotti.
Rigotti cane is smooth, evenly colored, and has a nice medium hardness.
